The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to us for the following reasons:

  • Entering into a contract with us for the hiring of the village hall for your event
  • Enabling payment of the agreed hire charges

We use the information that you have given us in order to book the village hall for your event and to collect payment from you.

How we store your personal information

Your personal information is securely stored.

Your personal information may be kept for up to three years for accounting purposes and for longer, up to seven years, where required for legal purposes or by the hall’s grant funders or the hall’s insurers. 

We will then dispose of your information by securely destroying it.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
